I love my Uggs, and I live in Florida  it doesnt necessarally have to be super cold to wear them..I wear them the other day and it was in the high 70s outside. Im kinda bummed that they became so *trendy* though Uggs have been around forever, and they werent meant to be trendy or cute..they were comfy...I think hollywood kind of ruined uggs in a way  but I dont care im still gonna wear mine because theyre heavenly! ;D |

it seriously does not have to be cold to wear ugg boots!!! i live in australia n australia invented ugg boots ages n ages ago n u think it's ever cold here, hello it's summer all year round in aus!! btw ugg boots werent just invented, they have been around for ages n every1 in aus has a pair, but it wasn't until last year that ppl started to wear them OUTSIDE of the house.. GO AUSTRALIA U TREND SETTERS U!!

Uggs are a very aussie thing, i've had uggs for years and years but all of a sudden they became a trendy item and everyone was wearing them.
Uggs are slippers people, they're meant to be worn as slippers not outside shoes lol. I don't wear mine outside coz i don't particularly like the look, but it can look cute on people.
Aslong as you're not wearing them with a teeny tiny mini skirt in the middle of winter, with no stockings or anything and purple legs because its so cold, then they aren't cool. (trust me, i've seen it happen too many times)

I think i read somewhere that uggs were made in australia originally for the surfers. For them to keep warm after they came out of the water. does anyone know if this is true?

Well, At this place, in Holland... The Uggs are SO out of fashion.. and very 'last season'. unfortunately, because you can make a lot of cool outfits with them... sorry for my terrible english. ;D |

uggs look strange, and the soles wear down really quickly. Because ugg boots are Aussie slippers! here in Australia we've all pretty much been raised in them from a very young age. they're our surfer bum boots! until celebrities in America started wearing them, they weren't a stylish fashion statement, we would just wear them round the house, beach and down to the corner store. but they're great slippers, and kudos to all who wear them for the comfort, not the style.

I love my UGGS... I don't care how "uncool" they are... they are super comfy and warm and you can't tell their uggs when you wear them under jeans

i LOVE LOVE LOVEEE my UGGS. and ya i wear them all the time. here in toronto wen it snows. and even in the spring summer n fall. and when i go down to florida to visit the grandparents. theyre so cumfy. and i agree that hollywood did mess up the UUGS style. but they do get slouchey in the back i will admit. but theyre comfy. and they are actualy meant for surfers so when they get out of the water thier feet dont get cold so everyone who hates UUGS. you have no idea what youre missing out on!!!!! |

^^definatly agree no matter what temp it is here in the t-dot i wear my uggs cuz there waaayy to comfy to sit in a closet all summer and when i go to l.a i wear them as well..i had the b4 they were a trend when i was 5 and lived in l.a lol so u can imagine my shock when they became a trend and every1 was dying to find them and i had like 10 pairs (i had gotten since the age of 5) most of them $30..its crazy no how there like $200!!
